"The Button" works similar to other bookmarking buttons you may have seen or used online. At SearchSays, though, we like to call it bookmarking with a purpose.
As you browser the Internet, you can quickly list pages in the search engine that you think people will find useful. Our purpose as a community is to build the most effective user-contributed search tool possible; where people direct other people to relevant resources. In addition, you can still use it like a "favorites" button and save sites you might want to visit later. Like always, the pages you list are easy to find and share from your SearchSays account. When you find something you like, just click the button to save it to SearchSays. Installation Instructions*Make sure you restart your browser after installation. Both the Internet Explorer and Firefox button download links should prompt you to run the installation as long as you're in the correct browser. Microsoft Internet ExplorerClick "RUN" when the download window appears. Follow each step of the installation wizard and restart Internet Explorer. Mozilla FirefoxClick "INSTALL NOW" when the software installation window appears. You will have to restart Firefox after the extension is installed. If you are prompted to download the installation files first, do the following: Microsoft Internet ExplorerLocate and open the "SSButton Installer.msi" file. Follow the on-screen instructions and restart Internet Explorer. Mozilla FirefoxDrag and drop the "SSButton.xpi" file onto an open Firefox browser window. Click the "INSTALL NOW" button. |
